About Blaise

Blaise Serra is an innovative sleight of hand artist originally from Connecticut, now based in New York City. At the age of 18 he began performing at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, and worked for years as a magic consultant writing and designing illusions with acts in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The unique feats he is capable of have placed him in high-demand for appearances on shows such as “Penn and Teller: Fool Us,” in The New Yorker magazine, his frequent performances in Emursive’s “Speakeasy Magick”, his previous residency at Zero Bond, as well as to lecture on his creative process across the USA, UK, and China. Blaise is the current North American Champion of Close-Up magic, and the 2024 IBM People’s Choice Award winner.
